Quand je prends le metro au start c'est froid. 7°C, puh,
je ne me veux pas joindre a les autres milles dans le 70m large
Champs-Élysées.
Brevement je regarde ce infinite grand fourmillement de coureurs, et je
me retire au station de metro chaud en bas. Comme des centaines autres,
un petit campement de coureurs. 1min avant le signal de depart a 8:45 h
je me range chez les autres, frisoneant. le soleil est fort, masi nous
sommes dans l'ombre. Quelques minutes je prete mes oreilles au
multilingue speaker (F-Ital-Angl-Allem.), qui nous informe: 20% femmes (c'est
beaucoup), 30% Non Francaises (c'est beaucoup), 950 Allemands (c c'est
le 10eme plus grand marathon allemand). je suis seul dans la cité
d'amour. Et lentement il commence. A voir, quoi il ya a voir?
D'abord il va 2km legerement en bas, de l'Arc de Triomphe,
au fameux
Louvre,
jusqu'a la geante
Place de la Concorde:
Une grandiose perspective sur la grande colonne coloree. Oh-la-la, pAris,
nous arriverons!
Its cool while I am taking the underground to the
start. 7°C, pooh, I don't like to join the other thousands at the 70m-wide
avenue
Champs-Élysées.
Briefly I watch this infinite wide crush of runners, and I go back down
to the warm underground station. Like hundreds of others, a little
runners campground. 1min before the starting shot at 8:45 h I queue in,
freezing. The sun is strong, but we are in the shade. For some minutes I
am listening to the multilingual speaker's (Frch-Ital-Engl-Germ.)
informations: 20% women (that's a lot), 30% non-french (a lot), 950
Germans (the 10th biggest German marathon). I am alone in the city of
love. Well, then off we go. Lets see, what we'll find here?
First we roll a bit downhill, 2km, from landmark # 1, the
Arc de Triomphe,
passing the world's famous museum
Louvre,
getting to the big
Place de la Concorde:
A wide georgous view over this colourful field of runners. Oh-la-la, pAris, we
are coming!

Aujourd'hui je vais courir tout seul, je me
ferais une belle journee a pAris. Sans voitures dans les avenues,
incroyable! Personne me connait ici. Je comemnce lentement, simplement
je cours dans le jour.
Today I am running all alone, I make myself a nice
day in pAris. Hard to believe, no traffic in the streets! Here nobody
knows me. I am starting off slow, just running into the day.
